Diamond Industrial Group selects piping materials based on the specific demands of each industrial application. Factors including chemical exposure, operating temperature, pressure class, and regulatory requirements determine the optimal material for your system.

Our fabrication shop and field crews are experienced with metallic and thermoplastic piping systems, from standard carbon steel to specialty alloys like Hastelloy. Every material is installed to ASME B31.3 process piping standards.

Materials We Work With

01

Carbon Steel

The workhorse of industrial piping. Used for steam, condensate, compressed air, and general process applications. Available in schedules 10 through XXH. Joined by TIG, MIG, stick, and FCAW welding.

Stainless Steel (304 & 316)

Corrosion-resistant alloy for chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and sanitary applications. 316L provides superior resistance to chlorides and acids. Welded with TIG and orbital processes.

PVC

Chemical-resistant thermoplastic for acid waste, chemical distribution, and drain systems. Lightweight and economical for low-pressure, ambient-temperature chemical handling applications.

HDPE

High-density polyethylene piping for chemical waste, water distribution, and underground applications. Joined by butt fusion or electrofusion. Excellent chemical resistance and flexibility.

Polypropylene

Thermoplastic piping for aggressive chemical environments including acids, bases, and organic solvents. Excellent for chemical processing, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical facilities.

Teflon-Lined

PTFE-lined carbon steel piping for extreme chemical service. Combines the structural strength of steel with the chemical resistance of Teflon for handling the most corrosive media.

Hastelloy

Nickel-based superalloy for the most demanding corrosive environments. Used where stainless steel cannot withstand chemical attack — including concentrated acids, chlorine, and high-temperature applications.
